A Crested Butte resident reported the theft of his one-wheel skateboard from the potholes area of Escalante Canyon.
A father and son from Austin reported the loss of an undisclosed amount of money to an apparent scam.
Shortly before midnight, deputies responded to a rollover traffic accident on Highway 133 near Paonia. The driver was not located on the scene. The Colorado State Patrol is following up.
Joshua Wilcox was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop at 2100 Road and Austin Road. Wilcox was issued a citation for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone.
At about 10:20 p.m., deputies, along with officers from the Cedaredge Police Department, responded to an address on Parkwood Lane to assist medical personnel with a man who was not conscious and not breathing.
Deputies responded to an address on L75 Road, Paonia, for a report of a juvenile male leaving home after a fight with his father. The juvenile was located and returned to his father's custody.
The theft of a vehicle was reported from an address on Oak Creek Road, Eckert.
Deputies assisted the Paonia Police Department with an incident involving one dog attacking another dog on Thompson Road.
Deputies responded to Delta County Memorial Hospital where a 3-year-old girl was being treated for a dog bite from the family dog.
At about 5:40 p.m., sheriff's deputies and a deputy marshal from Hotchkiss responded to mile marker 25, Highway 92, for a reported vehicle on fire.
Ronald Fitzgerrel Sr. of Delta was taken into custody for driving under restraint following a traffic stop at Main and 11th Street in Delta. A summons was issued for numerous other traffic offenses.
Deputies responded to a residence on Dry Creek Circle near Delta on a report of a person beating on windows and removing a window screen.
Deputies contacted two individuals in the 20000 block of Jarvis Road in Orchard City. Bryan Dean of Delta was cited for driving under revocation. Tresa Wright of Delta was arrested on an outstanding warrant and possession of suspected methamphetamine. Both were booked into the Delta County Jail.
A juvenile runaway was reported from a Paonia address. The juvenile was entered as a runaway in NCIC/CCIC.
At about 7:40 p.m., Crawford Fire, North Fork Ambulance, sheriff's deputies and the Colorado State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle traffic accident at mile marker 26, Highway 92, near Crawford. Elijah Kirk of Crawford was airlifted from the scene.
Armando Aparicio of Eckert was arrested at Maverik. He was transported to Delta County Jail for driving a vehicle while license suspended. Five additional active cases of driving under suspension are pending.
Deputies responded to Urgent Care for a dog bite that occurred on G Road near Delta.
Deputies responded to an address on F50 Road, Crawford, for a report of goats grazing on the complainant's property.
Deputies took a report of an abandoned motorcycle on Highway 92 outside of Hotchkiss.
Deputies responded to Delta County Memorial Hospital to take a report of a dog bite that occurred in the Paonia area.
At about 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 92 and Austin Road. One driver was transported from the scene with minor injuries. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
Deputies arrested a homeless woman at Maverik after she approached them and said there were warrants for her arrest.
At about 5:10 a.m., deputies responded to a traffic accident at 2600 Road and North Road, A female party was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
Deputies arrested Jesse Mcafee for first degree criminal trespass after he reportedly stole a gas can from the back of a truck parked at a residence on Old Wagon Road, Delta.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on O Road, Delta. They determined a male had been the victim of an assault; a warrant will be issued for the female assailant.
Deputies responded to a possible burglary at an address on Highway 348 near Pea Green, in Montrose County. Nobody was found on the property and the Montrose County Sheriff's Office took over the investigation.
