In May 2013, the Board of County Commissioners approved a resolution to temporarily exempt two-lot subdivisions from compliance with the density standards outlined in the Delta County Subdivision Regulations. The resolution was effective for one year.
The resolution was extended, again for one year, in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. That exemption has been been extended for 2019, with the following stipulations:
a. The parcel may not be further subdivided by the exemption.
b. The parcel may only be subdivided into two lots.
c. The owners must apply for a subdivision and comply with all processing and other subdivision requirements as outlined in the Delta County Subdivision Regulations, except for the density standard calculation.
d. The owners must submit a letter of request for exempting the parcel from the density calculation and the reason for requesting the exemption.
e. There may be only one exemption request approved for the property. Future requests will not be honored.
f. Lots must comply with minimum lot sizes as outlined in the Delta County Subdivision Regulations.
On May 1, the Cedaredge board of trustees met for a special meeting to appropriate an additional $35,000 from reserves as a loan to the golf course fund.
These funds will be used to purchased a used turf utility vehicle, a spray rig, and to make improvements to the kitchen and dining area of the restaurant.
