Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) and Montrose County Public Health confirmed a second case of novel coronavirus, COVID-19 on March 23. According to the CDPHE site, there are no positive cases in Delta County.
The person who tested positive is a 35-year-old male who recently spent time in Crested Butte. He is currently in quarantine, according to a county press release.
According to CDPHE, as of March 23, there are 720 positive cases in Colorado. A total of 6,224 people have been tested. As of March 23, there have been seven deaths and 72 people hospitalized. There has been two cases in Mesa County; and 28 in Gunnison County.
