The Delta Police Department released a request for a crime stoppers ad to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office Thursday afternoon, seeking information about the identification of an “SUV type vehicle” and the known associates of that vehicle. The vehicle is pictured above.
These people and the vehicle may be involved in multiple incidents of criminal mischief and first degree criminal trespass in several neighborhoods of Delta and Cedaredge.
According to the report, several vehicles in these areas were broken into by a side window being shattered. Items were stolen from some of these vehicles and, on occasion, tires have been slashed, “resulting in thousands of dollars in damage and loss due to theft.”
These incidents have been reported to local law enforcement as recently as March 30, the report said.
The DPD requests that anyone with information concerning these incidents speak with the DPD by calling 970-874-7676 or through Delta Dispatch, 970-874-2015. Anyone can also provide information to Crime Stopper at 970-874-8810 any time.
Crime Stopper has no caller ID and complete anonymity is guaranteed. Anyone with information that leads to arrests or convictions could also receive a reward of up to $1,000.
