Delta County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) was ranked second out of all the hospitals in southwestern Colorado by the U.S. News and World Report Hospital Ranking this month. The hospital was also recognized on Newsweek.
According to DCMH Marketing and Communications Director Jaque Davis, MHA, the factors with which the hospital was ranked were survival rates, patient safety and overall hospital reputation.
In 2016, DCMH was similarly recognized by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) for satisfied patients, outstanding quality and safety programs and good outcomes for patients.
“Our overall goal at Delta hospital is to be the people’s first choice and to increase accessibility to quality care,” Davis said. “It’s just something we try to do every day.”
