An officer was on patrol in the alleyway between 12th Street and 13th Street, Howard Street and Grand Avenue. As a result, Felicia Barbee was arrested on a valid Delta municipal court warrant and transported to Delta County Jail.

An officer responded to an address on Highway 50 for a report of a disturbance.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Main Street. K-9 Teg was requested to assist with a free air sniff of the vehicle. As a result, Rachel Golden was issued a summons for charges of unlawful possession of schedule II substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving vehicle with license suspended, speeding 10-19 over and failure to present evidence of insurance.

An officer responded to a call about an unknown person at a front door of a residence located at 260 Meeker St.

Animal Control responded to the area of Highway 50 and Alkali Basin Road for a dog a large. The dog was taken to Roice-Hurst Humane Society.

An officer responded to Alta Vista De La Montana for a report of a theft.

An officer contacted a male at Walmart. As a result, Dillon Reed was arrested on charges of criminal possession of a financial device and an outstanding Delta County warrant and transported to Delta County Jail.

An officer responded to Dairy King Drive Inn for a report of an abandoned vehicle.

An officer responded to the 100 block of Park Street for a citizen contact. As a result, Frankie Robbins was arrested on a warrant and transported to Delta County Jail.

An officer took a phone call on suspicious person in the 1700 block of Hillcrest Drive.

Sept. 5

An officer received a call of suspicious activity at 406 West Fourth Street.

An officer received a call for a citizen assist in the 600 block of Leon Street.

An officer responded to the 300 block of Kellogg Street for a report of a disturbance. As a result, Deana Ellis was arrested on charges of second degree assault and domestic violence. Kimbralea Freeman was arrested on third degree assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence. Both were transported to Delta County Jail.

An officer took a report of theft from auto that occurred in the Lion’s Pavilion.

An officer responded to a call for a single vehicle traffic accident at an address on Scott Circle. As a result, Yvonne Olivas was issued a summons for charges of failure to present insurance, driving with license denied and displaying fictitious plates.

Dispatch advised of possible elder abuse at Horizons Health Care Center.

Dispatch took a phone complaint of fraud in Hotchkiss.

DCSO was advised of a harassment call in the 4000 block of 2055 Lane, Delta.

William Thomas Craig was arrested on two Delta County warrants for failure to comply at the Delta County Detention Facility on this date.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit was utilized for a vehicle sniff at Safeway.

The DCSO K-9 Unit assisted the Delta Police Department in the 1100 block of Main Street, Delta with a vehicle sniff.

Sept. 1

Aaron Kitchens was arrested on a Delta County warrant for failure to appear at the Delta County Sheriff’s Office on this date.

Justin Trujillo, 32, was arrested by a court security deputy for a court mitt and placed in the jail.

Mark Ouellette, 31, was arrested on a court ordered arrested judgment/sentence at the Delta County Courthouse. Ouellette was sentenced to 10 days in jail for pleading guilty to driving under the influence of Class M.

A deputy responded to a possible protection order violation in Paonia.

DCSO K-9 Unit was utilized during a traffic contact in the 3700 block of Highway 348, Delta.

Elizabeth Van Antwerp was arrested on four warrants out of Delta County for failure to appear at the Delta County Sheriff’s office on this date.

Daniel Biszant, 37, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being contacted at the Maverik gas station. Biszant was booked into the jail without incident and also issued a summons for a small amount of suspected meth that was found on him at the time of his arrest.

Sept. 2

DCSO K-9 Unit was utilized during a traffic contact at 97 Circle Drive.

DCSO received a report of a suspicious incident involving a missing dog and damage to vehicle tires in the 4000 block of Peach Valley Road, Delta.

A deputy took a phone report of three dogs that killed four of a resident’s chickens, one of which was a boxer and one which was a pitbull. The incident occurred in the 18000 block of D Road, Delta, but the reporting party did not know who the dogs belonged to.

Deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of Eagle Feather Road, Delta, for an animal control incident.

Scott Smith, 40, was arrested during a traffic stop on four outstanding warrants and booked into the jail without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of Highway 65, Austin for an animal control issue.

Sept. 3

Upon responding to the 13000 block of Highway 65 on a medical call, deputies found a deceased 20-year-old female.

DCSO was advised of a theft call in the 800 block of Crawford Avenue, Delta.

DCSO investigated a reported protection order violation in Paonia.

A deputy responded to a location in the 12000 block of Crawford Road, Paonia for a deceased male. No suspicious circumstances were determined.

Cody Suckow, 32, was arrested on a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office warrant after being contacted in the 21000 block of Hamilton Road, Cedaredge.

Maria Kramer, 66, was arrested and booked in the jail on charges of third degree assault, crimes against an at-risk person and domestic violence.

Gregory Kramer, 52, was arrested and booked in the jail on charges of violation of a protection order and violation of bond conditions.

Sept. 4

Ronda Watson, 55, was arrested and booked into the Delta County Jail for menacing as an act of domestic violence in the 13000 block of German Creek Lane, Paonia.

Jessica Wieben, 30, was issued a summons for unlawful ownership of a dangerous dog after a victim was determined to have five dog bites from an incident involving her dog.

DCSO was advised of a disturbance call in the 12000 block of Eckert Estates Road, Eckert.

DCSO was advised of a disturbance in the 21000 block of Solar Court, Delta.

Sept. 5

Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 2095 Road for an animal control problem.

Deputies responded to the area of Old Grand Mesa Road and Highway 65, Cedaredge on report of a truck window being broken.

Matthew McKinney, 33, was arrested and booked into the Delta County Jail on harassment charges.

Amanda Fowler, 31, was arrested on three active Grand Junction Police Department warrants during a response to a disturbance in the 31000 block of Lazear Road, Hotchkiss. She was booked in the jail.

Amanda Fowler, 31, was arrested on charges for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Sept. 6

Ariel Branum, 37, was arrested for trespassing.
