Nov. 19

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office (court security officer) arrested Tonya Pacheco, 41, on an outstanding warrant and placed her in the Delta County Jail. The warrant was for failure to appear with a bond of $1,000.

Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Bowie Mine for a suspicious incident. The reporting party stated she saw individuals near the shaft with flashlights. The individuals were maintenance personnel for the railroad.

Nov. 20

Deputies arrested Jordan Jones for an outstanding warrant out of Delta County. Jones was booked into the Delta County Jail without incident.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office received a request for an agency assist at the Technical College of the Rockies. The reporting party wanted deputies to standby while they expelled five students.

James Brasiel was arrested on a Gunnison County warrant for failure to appear at the Delta County Jail this date. Bond is set at $2,500 cash/surety.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief in the 21000 block of Lanning Road, Austin.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a drug violation by Paul Luce in the 14000 block of E Road, Delta.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office assisted a reporting party with a Civil Standby in the 38000 block of Highway 92, Crawford. The reporting party advised a civil standby was needed for her to collect her child’s clothing and necessities from her ex’s house. This was conducted without issue.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 14000 block of E Road, Delta, on a reference of a camper on fire. The owner of the camper did not have insurance on the camper and did not need any other accommodations. There is no suspect foul play for this incident.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office (court security officer) arrested Jose Madrid, 38, on an outstanding Colorado State Patrol warrant and placed him in the Delta County Jail. The warrant was for failure to appear with a bond of $1,500.

Nov. 22

Deputies of the Delta County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6100 block of Graff Road, Delta, in reference to a wanted person. Johnathan Lopez was arrested on two valid warrants. Johnathan disclosed that he was in possession of methamphetamine, which was removed from the small right pocket of his jeans. Once they entered the Delta County Jail, Johnathan was searched for contraband and a sandwich bag containing marijuana was discovered.

Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies contacted a person with an active warrant in the 500 block of Palmer Street, Delta. The deputies took Delanie Adair into custody for a Delta County warrant, without incident.

Deputies assisted the Delta Police Department with the location of a shoplifter from Walmart. The suspect, Angie Sanchez, 53, was located near Cedaredge and brought back to Walmart for a summons and trespass notice.

Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 31000 block of L Road, Hotchkiss, for a theft. Upon arriving at this location, the deputies took a report of the stolen items.

Nov. 23

Deputies made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Grand Mesa Road, Cedaredge. After investigation, Alexander Torres was arrested and booked into custody for speeding, driving under the influence, and other associated charges.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Delta Police Department with the arrest of Michael Levins.

Nov. 25

Tynisha Nicole Young was arrested for failure to appear at the Delta County Court on Sept. 4. Bond is set at $100 cash/surety. Nicole also had two warrants for failure to appear at the Delta Municipal Court on Aug. 5. Each bond is set at $300 cash only.
