Sept. 29

An officer conducted a traffic stop on Confluence Drive. Armando Aparicio, 31, of Eckert, was arrested and jailed for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and tail lamps and reflectors required.

Officers responded to 2200 Southgate Lane, Affordable Delta Storage, on a report of suspicious activity and a burglary.

Sea Lee Metheny, 34, of Delta, was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total of $1,500 in bonds.

An officer responded to Safeway on a report of a shoplifter. Rikki Shae Commander, 25, of Delta, was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting.

Sept. 30

An officer responded to the 900 block of Pioneer Road on a report of a hit and run crash involving a fence.

An officer took a report of an alleged fraud involving the use of a credit/debit card at multiple locations within the City of Delta.

An officer took a report of possible criminal mischief alleged to have occurred at 600 A Street, Garnet Mesa Elementary School. Juvenile petitions, a direct file charging document, have been filed against three juvenile males, all of Delta, for alleged criminal mischief.

Officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of East 11th Street on follow up of another case. Christopher Shawn Conyers, 42, of Delta, was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $2,500 bond.

An officer responded to West Fifth Street at Confluence Drive on a report of theft. It was alleged the street name signs had been removed from the post and taken away by an unknown person.

Oct. 1

Officers responded to Arby’s, on a report of a two vehicle crash. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 50 and Confluence Drive when one vehicle allegedly made a left turn in front of the other. No injuries were reported or observed.

An officer responded to 7110 Highway 50 on a report of a two vehicle crash. One vehicle had already left the scene. No injuries were reported or observed. The vehicle that left was located. Both vehicles sustained damage yet appeared to be operable.

An officer was dispatched to Walmart on a report of a two vehicle crash. One vehicle was parked and unattended as it was struck by another vehicle that left the scene. That vehicle was located. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles appeared to be operable.

An officer conducted a traffic stop and located a wanted person as a passenger in the vehicle. Jake Kramer Davis, 34, of Delta, was arrested and jailed for alleged possession of a controlled substance, obstructing government operations and resisting arrest.

Oct. 2

An officer responded to Hellman Ford and Toyota on a report of theft. The rims and tires were removed from a brand new 2019 Toyota Camry.

Officers responded to residences in the 700 block of Albany Street, 800 block of 1525 Road and 200 block of West Fourth Street concerning a report of harassment and assault. Jordan Dane Jones, 22, of Delta, was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment as an act of domestic violence.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Pinon Street on a report of a domestic violence situation. Jairric Ken Corbin Bever, 22, of Delta, was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment as an act of domestic violence.

Oct. 4

Jordan Dane Jones, 22, of Delta, was arrested and jailed for alleged unlawful possession of controlled substance, bail bond violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and child abuse. The juvenile present in the vehicle was picked up by a responsible adult.

An officer on patrol located a wanted person at Walmart in the parking lot. Jacob Shadoe Futrell, 25, of Delta was arrested and jailed on four warrants with a total of $10,800 in bonds.

Delta County Sheriff Department

Oct. 1

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office took report of a drug violation in the 500 block of Palmer Street. Alexander Sorvari was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Delta County Sheriff's Office received a report of harassment in the 17000 block of Currant Creek Road.

Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 12764 Highway 65 after allegedly being involved in a traffic accident at Walmart.

Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff's Office responded to assist Cedaredge Police Department with a possible burglary in progress in the 600 block of West Main Street. Alexander Sorvari was taken into custody with the assistance of K-9 Oxx.

Oct. 2

Deputies investigated a report of a protection order violation near the Eckert area. As a result of the investigation, Michael Fancher was arrested and charged with harassment, violating a protection order and domestic violence.

Oct. 4

The K9 Unit assisted a deputy with a vehicle sniff after illegal narcotic/controlled substance paraphernalia was observed inside the Alica Trujillo’s vehicle in plain view. K9 Roo conducted an exterior air sniff around Trujillo’s vehicle and produced a noticeable change in behavior when she came into the odor of illegal narcotics/controlled substances. A hand search of Trujillo’s vehicle revealed approximately 6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, suspected LSD tabs, and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies received a report of identity theft from the 18000 block of B Road, Delta. It was reported the unknown suspects purchased $915.21 in power tools online from The Home Depot. It was reported the suspects used a fraudulent Visa credit card. This case remains active at this time pending further follow up.

Delta County Sheriff's Deputies took a report of an assault in the 1500 block of West Main Street, Cedaredge. Deputies contacted the reporting party, taking a report of the incident. This case remains active at this time.
