Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County — Cedaredge Community Center (Monday-Thursday), Delta Community Center (Monday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Thursday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Meals are also served in Olathe on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Wednesday, Dec. 4: Roast beef, kidney bean salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, California blend veggies, homemade wheat roll and birthday cake.

Thursday, Dec. 5: Shepherd’s pie, honey fruit salad, cabbage and carrots, homemade wheat roll and emerald isle dessert.

Friday, Dec. 6: Pizza mac casserole, tossed salad, winter blend veggies, homemade french bread and tropical fruit cup.

Monday, Dec. 9: Sloppy joe on whole wheat bun, three-bean salad, potato wedges, sweet corn and lemon pie cookie bar with orange wedge.

Tuesday, Dec. 10: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, calico veg salad, green beans, homemade garlic breadstick and emerald isle dessert.

Wednesday, Dec. 11: Fettuccini alfredo, Italian chicken breast, garlic bread, candied bacon brussel sprouts and chocolate oatmeal no bake cookie.

Thursday, Dec. 12: Pork roast, whipped sweet potatoes, buttered cauliflower, homemade whole wheat roll and birthday cake.

Friday, Dec. 13: Chili con carne with cheddar cheese and diced onion, tossed salad and tomato wedge, homemade corn bread and ice cream.

Monday, Dec. 16: Spaghetti with meat sauce, parmesan cheese on side, tossed salad with tomato, Italian vegetable, homemade breadstick and pears.

Tuesday, Dec. 17: Chicken enchilada casserole Spanish rice, hot black bean salad and pineapple tidbits.

Wednesday, Dec. 18: Beef stew with potatoes and carrots, celery and onions, mandarins spinach salad, rye roll and honey fruit dessert.

Thursday, Dec. 19: Ham and beans, cottage cheese and madarin oranges, cornbread, parsley carrots and oatmeal raisin cookie.

Friday, Dec. 20: Meatloaf with tomato glaze, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned broccoli, tossed salad with tomato wedge, oatmeal roll and deluxe banana pudding.

Monday, Dec. 23: Chicken enchilada casserole Spinach rice, hot black bean salad and tropical fruit.

Tuesday, Dec. 24: Closed for Christmas Eve

Wednesday, Dec. 25: Closed for Christmas

Thursday, Dec. 26: Beef tips with mushroom sauce over brown rice, green beans, V8 juice, homemade breadstick and peaches and PBOK cookie.

Friday, Dec. 27: Ham and broccoli casserole, peas and pearl onions, cornbread, orange spinach berry salad and baked apple slices.

Monday, Dec. 30: Stuffed cabbage casserole, tossed salad and tomato wedge, peas and carrots and banana muffin.

Tuesday, Dec. 31: Liver and onion or beef patty with carrot and onion gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, tossed salad, seasoned carrots and honey fruit dessert.
