On Wednesday, the Delta County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) arrested Delta residents Raul Coronado-Gonzalez, 28, and Natalie Svensson, 18, following an “on-going crime spree in Delta County.” This is according to a public release from DCSO.
The arrest followed a brief pursuit of the two suspects in the California Mesa area west of Delta.
“Over the past few months, deputies here in Delta County and neighboring counties have identified Raul and/or Natalie as being involved in multiple burglaries, thefts as well as vehicle thefts,” the report said. “On several occasions, these two have fled from deputies or local police officers in stolen vehicles while completely disregarding public safety.
According to the report, Gonzalez was taken into custody on seven active felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants. Svensson was arrested for a probation violation. Both were additionally charged accordingly for the pursuit that ultimately ended in their arrests.
Both Gonzalez and Svensson are being held in the Delta County Jail to await court dates later this month.
