Perry Will

Colorado Rep. Perry Will speaks to an audience about wolves at the Cedaredge Town Park band stand.

The Cedaredge Town Park saw a special visit from two state representatives on Saturday in a meet and greet event. Rep. Perry Will (R), District 57, was the “man of the hour,” brought in by members of the community who are retired from parks and wildlife and foresting industries.

Rep. Matt Soper (R), District 54, paid a visit as well to speak in favor of Will as he is up for reelection this year.

Will visited with members of the community for a few hours in the afternoon and gave his stance against the reintroduction of wolves in western Colorado, along with the belief that an environmental impact study needs to be required for the wellbeing of the ecosystem.

Will is on the state’s agriculture, livestock and water, capital development and environmental committees. He serves primarily Garfield, Moffat and Rio Blanco counties.
