Drivers on US 50 between Grand Junction and Delta can expect the following traffic impacts from June 27-July 3.

The US 50 settlement repair project will begin on US Highway 50 at Mile Point 47.6 and will continue for more than 16 miles to MP 64.5 near Delta.

Motorists should plan for:

•24/7 east and westbound traffic will be head to head in the westbound lane from MP 47.6 to MP 55. Eastbound motorists will use the crossover where marked to enter and exit the westbound lane. There will be a 12 ft. width restriction 24/7.

Work will consist of full depth reclamation and guardrail installation.

Drivers are asked to obey all speed limit reductions and construction road signs during this time. There will be no work Friday, July 2 or Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. The 12 feet width restriction and head-to-head traffic will remain in effect.
