Darlene Yvonne Keeton died Sept. 7, 2018. She was 62.
She was born in Olathe to Clyde and Lorraine Lewis on Feb. 27, 1956. She spent her childhood and attended school in Olathe.
On April 7, 1969, she was baptized by her grandfather into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn; she remained a lifelong and faithful member.
On Nov. 3, 1972, she married Mark Branham at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn of Delta. They had three children and shared 32 years of marriage before his death on April 8, 2005.
On March 24, 2007, she married David Keeton of Vici, Okla. They enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and four-wheeling in the mountains.
Mrs. Keeton was a very proud mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and designed her own cookbook titled, "From the Kitchen of Grandma Darlene." She also enjoyed sewing; for Christmas 2015, she made 19 handmade quilts for her family. She also enjoyed planning special family events, sharing her faith with others and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, David Keeton of Montrose; daughter, Angie (Joe) Chapman of Montrose; son, Shawn Branham of Vici, Okla; 16 grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark Branham; and one son, Jeremiah.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Delta, with interment to follow at Pea Green Cemetery.
