Delta county resident, Logan I. Schopp, passed away in a tragic car accident on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 in Texas. He was 22 years old.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, at Paonia High School in Paonia, Colorado. A luncheon will follow the service.
Logan Isaac Schopp was born Jan. 16, 1997 to Peter Schopp and Julie Bergdahl in Montrose, Colorado. Logan spent his childhood in the Delta County area, graduating from Paonia High School with the Class of 2015.
Logan is survived by his parents, Julie Bergdahl and Peter Schopp (Tamara); brothers, Alex Schopp (Lenora); Anders Schopp; and Colter Muse; sisters, Aleta Norris (Lucas); and Jesi Muse; step-sisters, Maranda (Jake) Ealy; and Latasha (James) Harris; nephews: Benayah and Solomon Schopp; and Haden and Cooper Norris; niece, Maggie Norris; grandparents, Kay Bergdahl and Ernst Schopp; uncles: David Bergdahl; Matt Bergdahl; Norman Berdahl; and Gerd Schopp; aunts: Dawn Bergdahl; and Elke Milton; Logan is further survived by his extended family and numerous friends.
Logan was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Bergdahl and Margarete Schopp.
Logan was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
