Events of the last two years have created great confusion and division in our country. The newly reassembled John Birch Society of Delta County held its first meeting on May 3rd in Austin. Ten freedom-minded, Constitutionally literate people attended, representing all five local communities including non-affiliates, Republicans and Democrats.
The decided goal/mission is to educate/share information that is being suppressed by those who are profiting from the harm inflicted on others, and to increase awareness of the local and global governmental activities detrimental to our American culture. The sovereignty of the United States of America is in jeopardy.
As American Freedom supporters, we plan to be attending all the local summer events, which started with the Ute Trails Car Show in Hotchkiss on Saturday, May 13th. We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day while sharing information with many new found friends! We are looking forward to finding more Patriot friends as the summer continues!
Ongoing John Birch Society meetings will be held at the Surface Creek Community Church (corner of Austin Road and Highway 92) in Austin on the first and third Wednesdays beginning this Wednesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. We have a wide variety of research books and videos to share.
