Grand Junction resident Pete "Pat" Patric Sanchez died July 12, 2017, in Grand Junction. He was 46.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, at St. Michael's Church in Delta. Rosary will be recited prior to the service at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Mesa View Cemetery.
Mr. Sanchez was born in Montrose April 24, 1971, to Pete and Lillian Sanchez. He graduated from Delta High School. He was a wrestler.
He was a coal miner and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, horses, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
In 2008, he married Amanda Poirier.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Sanchez of Delta; a son, Ryan Eberle of Olathe; a daughter, Audrina Sanchez of Delta; a brother, Tim (Arna) Sanchez of Delta; two sisters, Pauline (Ron) Applegate of Montrose and Amanda Sanchez of Fort Collins; his mother, Lillian (Jay) Stevenson of Grand Junction; his father, Pete J. (Sharon) Sanchez of Delta; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Pete B. Sanchez; and his grandparents, Rudy and Eva Garcia and Julian and Lucy Sanchez.

The Hotchkiss-Crawford Historial Society will host its annual meeting on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2:00 at the Memorial Hall in Hotchkiss. There will be music, refreshments and a guest speaker, Robert Sibernagel. He is well known in the area as he writes regional history columns for The Daily Sentinel. He was formerly the editorial page editor for that paper for 19 years.
