Paul Asaro brings his unique piano stylings, his stories and his songs to the stage at Delta Performing Arts Center, 822 Grand Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 18, under the sponsorship of the Delta-Montrose Community Concert Association. The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m.
Paul Asaro is known as one of the finest of a select group of pianists who still perform the demanding, two-handed piano styles from the first half of the 20th century -- stomps, boogie-woogie and swing.

During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
