The Basket Case Quilt Guild and Surface Creek Quilters are joining forces for a quilt show at the Delta Middle School gymnasium April 8 and 9. The show is open Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to a beautiful array of handcrafted quilts, there will be a silent auction for a breast cancer quilt made by members of Basket Case Quilt Guild. Proceeds from the auction will help in the fight against breast cancer.
Members of Eckert Presbyterian Church will be on hand with a raffle quilt they made to raise funds for maintenance of the historic church. Raffle tickets will also be available for a quilt made by the S&B Quilters' Guild.
A "Quilt of Valor" display will have contact information for those interested in making or receiving these quilts.
Admission to the show is $3, with $1 going to mission trips to Haiti. Viewers will have an opportunity to vote on the first, second and third place quilt show winners.
The Patchwork Café will offer beverages and goodies.
