Traveling Vietnam wall crowns Salute to Armed Forces Festival

A replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall is heading to Delta, an occasion that will be marked by a multi-day Salute to Armed Forces Festival in Confluence Park. An estimated 15,000 to 20,000 people are expected to visit the wall and participate in the festival June 6-9.

VFW will serve pancake breakfast on Memorial Day

Lee Marts Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3571 and its Auxiliary will be hosting their annual Memorial Day community pancake breakfast on Monday, May 27. For only $7 attendees will be treated to an "all you can eat" feast of pancakes, eggs to order, link sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice.
