If selective logging was allowed in Colorado, $4 billion would be put into the economy. So the government says no to logging and spends $3 billion to fight the forest fires that wouldn't happen if selective logging was allowed. The emissions from these Colorado forest fires is one million times greater than all the CO2 emissions from all of the engines in the oil industry, including frac trucks.

On May 1, the Cedaredge board of trustees met for a special meeting to appropriate an additional $35,000 from reserves as a loan to the golf course fund.
