Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday), Delta Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Friday, June 1 -- Lasagna, tossed salad, wax beans with red pepper, garlic breadstick and fresh strawberries with whipped topping.
Monday, June 4 -- Meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, kidney bean salad, California blend vegetables, wheat roll and apple crisp.
Tuesday, June 5 -- Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, black bean salad, peas and honey bee ambrosia.
Wednesday, June 6 -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, pickled beets and onions, chuckwagon vegetable blend, roll, frosted cake and half an orange.
Thursday, June 7 -- Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, green beans, garlic breadstick and sliced peaches.
Friday, June 8 -- Tahitian chicken fried rice, whole wheat roll and one-cup fruit dessert.
Monday, June 11 -- Homemade pepperoni and beef pizza, tomato, onion and cucumber salad, summer squash and berry blend crisp.
Tuesday, June 12 --Hamloaf, spinach mandarin salad, baked potato, mixed vegetables, onion roll and sliced pears.
Wednesday, June 13 -- Oven-roasted chicken, parsley buttered potatoes, Harvard beets, green beans, homemade biscuit and fruit cocktail.

During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
