Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday), Delta Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Friday, March 1 -- Baked chicken breast on fettuccine alfredo, candied bacon Brussels sprouts, roll and apple crisp.
Monday, March 4 -- Chicken pot pie, three-bean salad, onion roll and tropical fruit.
Tuesday, March 5 -- Beef and sausage lasagna, Italian veggie blend, tossed salad, garlic breadstick and fruited Jell-O.
Wednesday, March 6 -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, kidney bean salad, broccoli, wheat roll and birthday cake.
Thursday, March 7 -- Barbecue chicken breast, potato salad, bell pepper, carrots and onions, oatmeal roll and honey fruit dessert.
Friday, March 8 --Cheddar cheeseburger on whole wheat bun, lettuce/onion/tomato, potato wedges, baked beans and fruit cocktail.
Monday, March 11 -- Italian chicken breast, pea and cheese salad, potatoes O'Brien, stewed tomatoes, roll and peach crisp.
Tuesday, March 12 -- Potato-crusted cod, fish house coleslaw, potato wedges, whole wheat roll and fresh apple.
Wednesday, March 13 -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh veggie salad, sweet corn, whole wheat roll and fruit compote.
Thursday, March 14 -- Roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, bacon ranch pea salad, California blend vegetables, whole wheat roll and birthday cake.
Friday, March 15 --Beef and sausage lasagna, tossed salad, green beans, garlic bread and peaches.
Monday, March 18 -- Chicken enchilada casserole, Spanish rice, hot black bean salad and pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday, March 19 -- Chili con carne with cheddar cheese and diced onion, cornbread, tossed salad and fruit cocktail.
Wednesday, March 20 -- Pizza mac casserole, Italian bread, garbanzo bean and tomato salad, Italian bread and honey fruit dessert.
Thursday, March 21 -- Meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and carrots, three-bean salad and Greek yogurt with blueberries.
Monday, March 25 -- Ham and broccoli casserole, peas and pearl onions, orange spinach berry salad, cornbread and baked apple slices.
Tuesday, March 26 -- Beef stroganoff over egg noodles, pea and cheese salad, cauliflower, oatmeal roll and peach crisp.
Wednesday, March 27 -- Oven-fried chicken breast, whipped sweet potatoes, rice salad, green beans, wheat roll and deluxe banana pudding.
Thursday, March 28 -- Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, Italian vegetables, breadstick and diced peaches.
