Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday), Delta Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday-Wednesday-Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Wednesday, May 1 -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, pickled beet and onion salad, California blend vegetables, wheat roll and citrus splash mousse cake.
Thursday, May 2 -- Italian chicken breast on fettuccine alfredo, candied bacon brussels sprouts, garlic butter roll and chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookie.
Friday, May 3 -- Hamburger patty on whole wheat bun, lettuce/onion/tomato, sweet potato fries, baked beans and tropical fruit.
Monday, May 6 -- Barbecue beef sandwich on whole wheat bun, coleslaw, baked beans, western corn and banana.
Tuesday, May 7 -- Oven-fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamy cucumber salad, carrots and zucchini, buttermilk biscuit and fresh fruit dessert.
Wednesday, May 8 -- Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian blend vegetables, tossed salad, garlic butter roll, peaches and pears.
Thursday, May 9 -- Roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, California blend veggies, kidney bean salad, whole wheat roll and applesauce cake.
Friday, May 10 -- Ham loaf, baked sweet potato, tomato cucumber salad, peas and apple crisp.
Monday, May 13 -- Turkey ala king over brown rice, Scandinavian blend veggies, cranberry juice, whole wheat roll and sunset yogurt dessert.
Tuesday, May 14 -- Baked paprika chicken, mandarin spinach salad, creamy brown rice with mushrooms, California blend vegetables and morning glory muffin.
Wednesday, May 15 -- Liver and onions or beef patty with carrot and onion gravy, mashed potatoes, calico salad, carrots and honey fruit dessert.
Thursday, May 16 -- Beef and pork lasagna, tossed salad, Italian vegetables, garlic bread and peach cobbler.
Friday, May 17 -- Beef burrito with green chili sauce, lettuce/onion/tomato, refried beans, western corn and oatmeal raisin cookie.
Monday, May 20 -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, chateau vegetables, low-sodium V-8 juice, cheddar onion biscuit and bread pudding.
Tuesday, May 21 -- Potato-crusted cod, crunchy garden slaw, baked potato, broccoli and lemon pie cookie bar.
Wednesday, May 22 -- Oven-fried chicken thighs, mandarin spinach salad, roll, parsley buttered potatoes, green beans and royal brownie.
Thursday, May 23 -- Meat loaf with tomato glaze, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrot and raisin salad, mandarin oranges and cinnamon knots.
Friday, May 24 -- Ground beef stroganoff over egg noodles, kidney bean salad, Italian stewed tomatoes, onion roll and half an orange.
Monday, May 27 -- Memorial Day. Meal sites closed for the holiday.
Tuesday, May 28 -- Chicken pot pie, green beans, tomato sweet onion salad, roll and peach cobbler.
Wednesday, May 29 -- Beef tips with mushroom gravy over egg noodles, pea and cheese salad, wax beans with red pepper, oatmeal roll and pears.
Thursday, May 30 -- Ham and broccoli casserole, peas and onions, cranberry apple crisp and fruit cocktail.
Friday, May 31 -- Chicken enchilada casserole, diced tomatoes, summer squash mix, hot black bean salad and tropical fruit.
