The Bruins (3-2 overall and 2-2 WSL) gained most of their yards on the ground against Paonia with workhorse senior Conner Brooks bearing most of the load with 13 carries and 151 yards for four touchdowns in the game. Senior Trey Geyer used his speed and quickness for 81 yards on eight carries and one touchdown with Brown running five times for another 50 yards in a ground game that accounted for 320 yards.
There were a few ball control issues in the game with the Bruins fumbling four times and losing possession on three of those miscues.
