Montrose’s Jordan Jennings and Anthony Flint of Durango shared the top individual scores (72) at the Sept. 1 Warrior Invitational played at Tiara Rado Golf Club in Grand Junction. Montrose won the team title (225) with Durango finishing second with a 235. Cedaredge High School finished 13th (273) in the team race with Delta tied for 17th (290).

Cedaredge junior Brysen Harris finished 26th in the individual race followed by teammates Trey Geyer and Aspen Furubotten (tied for 55th) and Jacen Brown (83rd). Delta’s top individual in the tournament was freshman Logan Clay (52nd) followed by teammates Derek Boyd (63rd), Landon Clay (71st), Brendan Baier (77th) and Jack Loveland (90th).

Both Cedaredge and Delta golf teams are slated to participate at Dos Rios Golf Club in Gunnison on Wednesday, Sept. 9 beginning at 9 a.m. The following week,Tuesday, Sept. 15, will find the two teams playing the Vail Mountain Golf Course beginning at 11 a.m.
