Delta won a squeaker over host Hotchkiss, 43-42, on criteria points after the match finished regulation bouts tied at 42-all. The Panthers won the match on a point awarded for having fewer forfeits. Delta then faced Paonia and by the scoreboard’s count had lost the match. A post-match recount of points awarded during the contest revealed Delta had won the dual by a 40-39 decision. The Panthers final match of the week was with Olathe at the Central Quad meet on Saturday. Delta won the match 66-18. Delta’s individual results are found in today’s Wrestling Scoreboard.
