Foursome squeezes Devil's Thumb course for 53 and Rotary win

For the second day in a row KC Carlson and Josh Applegate were members of the winning team in Saturday's 19th annual Delta Rotary Club Golf Tournament. This year's event was played at Devil's Thumb Golf Club.

Carlson and Applegate took part in Friday's Scramble for the Wall to celebrate a National Treasure's presence (the Vietnam Wall replica) in Delta this past week.

Joining Carlson and Applegate in Friday's win were Swede Carlson and Jason Johnson. The foursome were nearly equal to Saturday's winning score with an 18-hole total of 56.

Saturday's winning combination included Dwain Bush and Eric Kelley who complimented Carlson and Applegate to finish the tournament with a 53.

The tournament's second-place team, made up of Mike Dallas, Brett Ellis, Darcy Ellis and Brian Musich, finished the tournament with a 15-under 57.

Saturday's third-place winners included the threesome of Jeff Caldwell, Torrey Steves and Dustin Smith, who finished the day with a 12-under 60.
