Delta High School senior Sara Geddes signed a letter of intent to attend Colorado Mesa University in the fall of 2020. Geddes, the daughter of Jeremy Geddes and Amy Frazier, will pursue a degree in exercise science while she participates as a Maverick teammate as a member of the CMU women’s basketball team.
Geddes is excited to become a Maverick and explained why she chose CMU as her college of choice: “I chose Colorado Mesa because of the unique program they have created in basketball. The coaching staff is amazing and you can tell they really care about their athletes, and overall the campus really felt like home.”
One of the determining factors influencing Geddes to sign at CMU was the way team members welcomed her and had amazing things to say about the community, school and the basketball program.
As a Delta High School athlete, Geddes has been a contributor in volleyball, basketball and track and field the past three years. She has numerous Player of the Match (in volleyball) and Player of the Game (basketball) honors as well as two All-State Honorable Mention awards in basketball (2017-18 and 2018-19).
