There was so much color and whimsy on display Friday night, May 3, at The Creamery Arts Center in Hotchkiss for the opening of an exhibition featuring artists from Hotchkiss High School and North Fork Montessori at Crawford. The students ranged in age from pre-schoolers to high schoolers.

The mediums also showed a wide range, including glass, wood, paper, string, paint and collage.

Parents and family oohed and aahed while the younger artists themselves took advantage of the evening to run around in the Creamery yard, playing tag. The older artists chatted and socialized. All present enjoyed the full offering of treats.

The exhibit will be on display through May 21.
