Cedaredge town employees are getting some cash kudos for working to stay fit.
The town's insurance carrier has cited employees for their participation in a worksite wellness program. Employees who participated in the program will get credits worth $100 that may be used to purchase personal wellness products, said Town Administrator Katie Sickles at the March town board meeting.
In addition, the town will receive $1,000 to use in helping to promote a culture of workplace wellness and safety.
HealthLinks Colorado also presented the town with a certificate as a "2016 Healthy Business Certified Partner."
During a preliminary hearing in Delta District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Judge Steven Schultz found probable cause for second degree murder charges against Heather Jones.
Jones previously faced three counts in the shooting of Ryan Redifer in Paonia on Jan. 12, 2018 -- assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and violation of a protection order.
