Twila Wingard of Delta died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. She was 31.
Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 20, at Sunnyview Mennonite Church in Olathe. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 21, at First Baptist Church in Delta. Burial followed at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Twila Rose Plank was born in Americas, Ga., March 3, 1984, to Lewis and Mary (Yoder) Plank. She spent her childhood and attended school in Montezuma, Ga.
On June 28, 2003, she married Donnavon Wingard in Montezuma, Ga. They later moved to Delta.
Mrs. Wingard was a member of the West Rockies Mennonite Church in Delta. She enjoyed being a mother, family time, cooking, traveling and worship music.
She is survived by her husband, Don Wingard; a daughter, Danielle; a son, Josh, all of Delta; her parents, Lewis and Mary Plank of Mon-tezuma, Ga.; her grandfather, Floyd Yoder of Montezuma, Ga.; three brothers, John (Jolene) Plank, James (Meagan) Plank and Darrel (Sue) Plank, all of Montezuma, Ga.; three sisters, Michele (Vern) Mast of Delta, Jennifer Plank and Emily (Grant) Yoder of Montezuma, Ga.; and extended family.

The Hotchkiss-Crawford Historial Society will host its annual meeting on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2:00 at the Memorial Hall in Hotchkiss. There will be music, refreshments and a guest speaker, Robert Sibernagel. He is well known in the area as he writes regional history columns for The Daily Sentinel. He was formerly the editorial page editor for that paper for 19 years.
