The 2019 Cabin Fever Quilt Show was sponsored by S&B Quilters' Guild of Hotchkiss on March 16. The show featured some 160 quilts and quilted items made by guild and local quilters. This show represented all quilt interests from traditional to art, made by adult and youth quilters from traditional to art. There was also a special antique quilt display.

Viewers' choice winners for adults were Nancy Vanaken, Sweet Memories, first; Margie Hollembeak, Storybook Farm, second, and Reina Roberts, Rabbit Hole, for youth.

Vendors included Mr. Wortman, Quilt It Ya Ya, The Thread Shed, Ladybugz Quilt & Yarn and Nuts N Bolts Needleworks. The club also extends a thank you to Hi Fashion for donating a sewing machine for the youth viewer's choice.

A big thank you to all the guild members, volunteers, Delta County Fairgrounds and personnel, Delta Correctional Center, Hotchkiss High School, High Country Printing/Graphics, and co-chairs Cynda Clay and Margie Hollembeak for their organization and leadership.

S&B Quilters' Guild meets on the second Saturday each month at 9 a.m. at Hotchkiss Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome to come, share, learn, stitch and join. Membership is open to all who have an interest in quilts and quilting.
