Lee Marts Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3571 and its auxiliary is working out the final details for their first annual horseshoe and corn hole tournament on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cleland Park in Delta.
The tournament will offer chances for horseshoe pitching and corn hole throwing for a variety of ages. For only a $25 entry fee, participants can compete for a variety of prizes, while having a great time.
This tournament will replace the VFW golf tournament that has been held for several years, adding some fresh new opportunities for community involvement.
Start honing up your pitching arms, for the horseshoes or the corn hole (or both) competitions. And don't forget the veterans and auxiliary members will also be barbecuing up some good food!
For more information call auxiliary president Della Ware at 872-3327.
