Great Place to Work Institute has honored Volunteers of America National Services, a national housing and senior care provider, with certification as a "Great Place to Work." Volunteers of America manages seven different health care programs and five affordable housing communities in Montrose and Delta counties.

Volunteers of America National Services' programs in western Colorado employ approximately 600 individuals and offer services including home health care, independent living, assisted living, long term skilled nursing care, physical and occupational rehabilitation therapy, memory care, meals on wheels and community dining sites and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
