Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center and Delta County Libraries, as part of its ongoing "Voices of the Western Slope," will offer "Introduction to Water in the Surface Creek Valley"; a four-part series beginning in March that brings together representatives from various water agencies to discuss pertinent topics regarding water use in the Surface Creek Valley.
Water 101, the first presentation in the series, features a panel of representatives from Grand Mesa Water Conservancy District, Grand Mesa Water Users Association, Orchard City Irrigation District, and the State of Colorado Department of Water Resources. Austin Keiser will moderate.
"Introduction to Water in the Surface Creek Valley: Water 101" will be held at the Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center Thursday, March 14, at 6 p.m. There is a recommended donation of $10 at the door to cover presentation costs.
