Teen Scene. Learn how to make paper machines that move in this Karakuri paper craft class. Grades 6-12 welcome. Friday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m.

Book Sale. Join the Friends of the Cedaredge Library for their annual book sale at AppleFest.A wide variety of books, CDs and DVDs will be available for suggested donations. Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fairy and Elf House Workshop. Join us in a magical, family-friendly workshop where we use our imagination and create fairy and elf houses out of natural materials. Bring your own natural materials as well as work with the one we have collected. All ages welcome. Space is limited to 10 people. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.

Deserts to Glaciers to Jungles...Exploring the Beauty of Chile and Argentina. The Friends of the Cedaredge Library invite the public to a travel adventure at the Stotle Shed in Cedaredge. World travelers Marv and Jude Kieca will regale the audience with pictures, stories and information on their recent trip. Refreshments will be served. Thursday, Oct. 13. Doors open at 6.30.

Internet Search Basics. Learn the basics of internet searching in this hands-on class that is geared directly for your skill level. Work with Google, YouTube, and Facebook to find things that are important to you! Open to all. Limited to 10. Friday, Oct. 14, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Teen Study Hall. Get organized! Bring in your syllabus, planner, notebooks and folders! Learn organizational techniques that will help you succeed this school year. Snacks will be provided. Thursday, Oct. 13, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Health Equity Learning Series. The Delta Library has partnered with Western Colorado Area Health Education Center and the Colorado Trust to host this health equity learning series. The first presentation in this series will focus on migrant workers and homelessness, health outcomes and more as they relate to health equity. Deliana Garcia, MA, of the Migrant Clinicians Network in Austin, Texas, is the speaker. Space is limited. Thursday, Oct. 13, 6 to 8 p.m.

Magic the Gathering. Teens can come to the library to play and trade cards for Magic the Gathering! Tournaments every first Saturday at 10 a.m.

Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Donation Drive. Help the Hotchkiss Library start a kids' building club. The Hotchkiss Library will be accepting gently used kids' building blocks in a marked box in the entryway during the month of September. Master Builder Club. Explore your creativity as a master builder with Legos. Join us for a monthly design themes and free building time. All ages welcome; children under 7 should bring an adult. Meets the first Tuesday of every month October through April.

Home School Day. Come to the Hotchkiss Library for an open house of library resources all day. Presentations on homeschooling resources for parents and students at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Friends Book Sale. Buy a book and support your library! Join the Friends of the Paonia Library for their two-day book sale at the Paonia Library. Friday, Oct. 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drive By Film School. Learn to take a movie from concept to reality with this weekly class. Day and time TBD.
