Surface Creek Trail StoryWalk®. The May StoryWalk® book on the Surface Creek Trail is "Good Trick Walking Stick" by Sheri M. Bestor.
Bug Catcher Maker Space. Kids are invited to Cedaredge Library to make a bug catcher. Visit the Surface Creek Trail StoryWalk® first and read the story "Good Trick Walking Stick" while walking the trail. Then come to the library to make a bug catcher! All supplies provided. Crafts Group. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show & tell.
Tech Café. Bring your devices! Bring your questions! Staff at Cedaredge Library will help you clear up your confusion with technology. From smartphones and laptops to tablets and computers, our resident techies will do their best to get you going! The second and fourth Fridays of every month from 2 to 4 p.m.
Digging Your Roots Genealogy Group. If you have a nagging curiosity about your family's beginning or a family legend you have always wanted to prove, then join the "Digging Your Roots" genealogy group at Cedaredge Library. We can help you get a start on research and assist you in tracking down that family legend! The Cedaredge genealogy group meets the first Friday of every month through June from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Trustee Talk Time Do you like your library? Do you have suggestions for improvement? Talk to Jess Deegan, the Crawford representative to the Delta County Libraries Board of Trustees. Tech Information Station. Delta Library offers an open tech information station in the conference room for all ages and skill levels to seek technical assistance with computers and tablets. Attendees will also receive an introduction to utilizing library databases for online research and classes. Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m.
Delta Book Club. The May book discussion is "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway. Saturday, May 18, at 1 p.m. at Delta Library.
Youth Writers Club. Teens are invited to Delta Library to share ideas and write! All skill levels and interest areas are welcome. Participants may choose to hand-write or type their work. Tuesday, May 21, at 4 p.m.
Sweitzer Lake StoryWalk®. The May-June story at Sweitzer Lake State Park is "Penguinaut!" written by Marcie Colleen and illustrated by Emma Yarlett. Find out how the story goes on the Sweitzer Lake trail in May and June. Then, stop by the library for an activity related to the story.
Build a Robot Maker Space. Kids are invited to the Delta Library to create a "wacky" robot to send to outer space. All supplies provided. All month long in May during library hours.
UFO Scavenger Hunt. Kids are invited to Delta Library to search the children's area for UFOs with book character pilots. Test your knowledge by matching the pilot with their book titles! All month in May during library hours.
Spring Book Sale.Friends of the Delta Library will feature cookbooks, gardening, religious, and spiritual books during May in the bookstore at Delta Library.
Council of Teens. Calling all teens! Do you want to have a say in what goes on in the library? Do you want to help choose the books we purchase? Join the Delta Library Council of Teens! The Council of Teens will help plan programs and activities as well as come up with books to add to the teen collection. Meets every Monday at 4 p.m.
Genealogy One-on-one. The Delta genealogy group group will not meet in April. Regular meetings will resume in May.
Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.
