Teen Jeopardy: A Universe of Stories.Teens are invited to Cedaredge Library to explore a universe of knowledge. Wednesday, July 11 at 3 p.m.

Global Rocket Launch. Bring the entire family to Cedaredge Library to join in the worldwide celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing! Help us make history at Cedaredge Library on Tuesday, July 16 at 1 p.m.


Cookie Moon. Teens are invited to Crawford Library to learn about the different phases of the moon using cookies. Friday, July 12 at 2 p.m.

Discover Black Holes. The entire family is invited to Crawford for "Discover Black Holes," a presentation by Black Canyon Astronomical Society at the school in Crawford, 51 Fir Avenue. Friday, July 19 at 2 p.m.


Starry Night Art Class. Teens and young adults are invited to Delta Library to learn how to paint a space scene! The class will be taught by locally famous art teacher Roger Hutchison! All supplies will be provided. Tuesday, July 9 at 2 p.m.

Delta Friends Meeting. Friends of the Delta Library meet Tuesday, July 9 at 3 p.m. at Delta Library. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.


Space Craft Rocket Launch. Teens are invited to Hotchkiss Library to design and launch a rocket! Blasting off on Wednesday, July 10 at 3 p.m.

Display. Visit the Hotchkiss Library in July to view space-themed artwork by Hotchkiss High School students.

Knitting Group. Do you knit or crochet? Join us for ideas, help, and good company the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. Contact Hotchkiss Library for more information at 399-7781.


Astrology in Everyday Life. Bring the family to Paonia Library for "Astronomy in Everyday Life," presented by Aaron Watson. Participants meet outside to see the moon rising using viewing equipment and a camera to capture the scene. If cloudy, meet inside and see the moon rising through images. Wednesday, July 10 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Discover Black Holes. The family is invited to Paonia Library for "Discover Black Holes," by Black Canyon Astronomical Society. Learn about black holes and engage in a discussion with BCAS president Bryan Cashion, Wednesday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m.
