The Delta County Fair & Rodeo is looking for young ladies between the ages of 9-18 who are interested in serving as fair royalty for the 2018-19 year. These young ladies will serve as ambassadors for the Delta County Fair throughout the year. They must have an understanding of what a county fair is, enjoy being out in the general public and have horsemanship skills as many of the activities they participate in requires them to be horseback.
The ladies will be required to participate in other county fairs, help with community activities, do all the Parade of Lights in Delta County, attend fair board meetings, help all week at the fair and ride in various parades through the summer. They will also have the opportunity to attend royalty workshops and meet Miss Rodeo Colorado and Lady in Waiting at various activities. They will be required to visit sponsors of the fair to help promote the fair.
Applications are due June 4, to be able to compete in this year's royalty contest. Applications can be found online at DeltaCountyFair.com or by calling Teresa Burns at 970-270-4493.
